The AI + Blockchain Global University Autumn Camp Hackathon 2025 is officially underway, igniting a wave of creativity among global students and developers. Hosted by Quack AI in collaboration with Imperial College London’s Blockchain Society and powered by BNB Chain, this event bridges academia and industry to explore the fusion of artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies.
Running through December 2025, with submissions open, it invites university teams to tackle real-world challenges in AI agents, on-chain intelligence, and decentralized systems.
Launched following an electrifying two-day Opening Ceremony on November 28-29, 2025, the hackathon features over $69,000 in prizes across cash, API credits, and compute resources. The ceremony, held online, included keynotes and workshops from industry leaders like Akedo, Unibase, ChainGPT, Aethir Cloud, SpaceAgri, and BNB Chain.
At the heart of the hackathon are five bounty tracks, each sponsored by ecosystem partners:
- Akedo- AI Robot Shopping Assistant: Build an autonomous grocery management agent with inventory tracking, predictions, and integrations like Amazon. Prize: $15,000, distributed across ten tiered winners.
- Unibase- Immortal AI Agent with Decentralized Memory: Create agents using sovereign memory for cross-platform interoperability. Prize: $10,000, judged on innovation and technical depth.
- Quack AI × ChainGPT- Super Web3 Agent: Develop chat-based agents for research, auditing, and on-chain actions with safety features. Prize: 20,000 API credits for ten winners.
- Aethir- Decentralized Compute Grant: For compute-intensive AI projects; top two teams get $20,000 worth of GPU resources and support.
- SpaceAgri- Agriculture Agent Track: Innovate with RWAs for breeding optimization and yield prediction using real APIs. Prize: $4,000 for functional MVPs.
Judging criteria emphasize innovation (30%), execution (30%), impact (20%), presentation (10%), and integration (10%). Winners gain incubation, grants, and visibility from backers like Animoca Brands and Skyland Ventures.
To join, developers must register on DoraHacks, submit prototypes with demos and GitHub repos by mid-December, and connect via the Imperial Hackathon Discord for mentorship. As Quack AI’s CEO noted, this camp empowers the next generation to shape AI-blockchain convergence, from DeFi automation to sustainable agriculture.
