Across lecture halls, Twitter Spaces, and online threads, Davis has become a recognizable spark in education as a public goods movement. Not because he chases clout, but because he shows up consistently for the students, the communities, and the vision of an informed, empowered Web3 generation.
A content strategist, ReFi/DeFi contributor, and community manager, Davis isn’t just talking about public goods, he’s influencing how young people discover them.
Proof of Impact/Work
Davis’ contents are as inviting as they are explanatory. Whether he’s breaking down public goods for Octant, or curating onboarding threads for Borderless 3.0, his work feels less like marketing and more like mentorship.
His thread on public goods principles has already crossed 2,000 views. His onboarding session for Octant, hosted during Borderless 3.0, drew in even more eyes and minds. These are entry points for students who once knew nothing of DAOs, coordination, or regenerative finance.
Davis has also helped drive Borderless’ ecosystem from the backend working with their writers’ team to develop the famous “count up” posts that built anticipation and participation for Borderless 3.0. He was a core member behind the “Building Wealth in Web3 1.0” event, hosted in partnership with EnergySalvation. 100+ attendees showed up, many of them walking away with resources, community, and a newfound understanding of what Web3 can offer. Some even gave live testimonials on how that day shifted their outlook.
From Twitter Spaces like “Positioning Yourself as a Web3 Creator”, to his work with university tech clubs, Davis has become a reference point for new builders. As an active member of the B<>rder/ess University Tech Club at Uniport (led by Esther Peter), he is part of its foundation. Davis Brain employs a collaborative, consistent, and focused on access approach to education. He’s co-hosted events, designed engagement strategies, and led conversations around the opportunities public goods can bring to African youth.
What’s Next?

With funding from this GG23 round, Davis plans to scale his impact:
- More Educational Resources: Guides, videos, explainers—accessible, shareable, and tailored for African students.
- Expanded Collaborations: Working hand-in-hand with tech clubs to organize onboarding events and Twitter Spaces that make the public goods conversation mainstream.
- Stronger Onboarding Pipelines: Not just introducing students to Web3, but equipping them with the clarity, tools, and confidence to stay and build.
Where You Come In
Davis Brains is lighting a path in places that need it most, universities, communities, and conversations often left out of the Web3 spotlight. If you simply believe in education as a public good, this is your moment to give back.
Support Davis in the GG23 Community Round, because the future of Web3 in Africa won’t be decided in conference rooms, it’ll be decided in classrooms, clubs, and content, and Davis is already there, leading the charge.
