In a true test of analytical skill, participants will compare LiskHQ, a Superchain on the Optimism (OP) network; Optimism, a collective for scaling Ethereum and supporting public goods; and Filecoin, a decentralized data storage network. This competition aims to shed light on the performance and efficiency of these networks, fostering data-driven growth in the blockchain ecosystem.
Participants are tasked with conducting a deep analysis across three primary metrics: gas fee savings, user growth, and transaction activity. Each metric provides a unique window into how these networks handle scalability, user adoption, and transaction demands.
Competitors will explore each network’s average gas fees, user growth trends, and transaction volumes to determine which network stands out in different categories. With blockchain metrics at the heart of this DATATHON, participants will offer valuable insights into the evolution of these major Web3 platforms.
Analysts must undertake a structured, comparative analysis of the data across LiskHQ, Optimism, and Filecoin to enter. For Gas Fee Savings, participants will need to compare average fees, analyze trends over time, and track any significant changes during peak usage periods to evaluate scalability.
The User Growth metric requires analyzing unique users, and daily/monthly active users, and identifying patterns in new user adoption. Finally, Transaction Activity calls for a close look at transaction volumes across each network, giving insights into their capacity and usage trends.
