The Web3 Developer Clubs have teamed up with Scroll (@Scroll_ZKP) and partners like @ModularCrypto, @buidlerstech, and @NodoLatino to launch the Scroll Content Hackathon. Announced on October 31, 2025, this content-focused challenge is live and targets writers, video makers, and UGC producers to spotlight the Scroll ecosystem, a ZK rollup offering low fees, EVM compatibility, and Ethereum security.
With submissions open from October 29 to November 10, 2025 (UTC), participants can compete in one of three language tracks: English ($1,000 pool), Portuguese ($1,000), or Spanish ($2,000), totaling over $4,000 in USDT prizes paid on Scroll. Top winners receive $500–$800 for first place, with announcements by November 15, followed by a post-Devconnect live celebration.
The hackathon features two challenges to educate newcomers and showcase real-user experiences:
- Long-Form Tweet or Thread: Craft an in-depth post introducing Scroll or its dApps, such as @ether_fi, @usxcapital, @honeypop_app, or @chatterpay. Focus on insights, reviews, or user stories—up to 10 points for creativity, project mentions, engagement, and quality.
- UGC Video (30–90 seconds): Film authentic clips of using a dApp, prioritizing EtherFi Cash (use referral https://www.ether.fi/refer/scroll1 for a $25 bonus) if available in your region; otherwise, alternatives like USX or Chatterpay. Earn up to 15 points, with bonuses for multi-platform posting (X, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).
To enter, register here, post publicly on X (videos optionally elsewhere), follow and tag all partners (@Scroll_ZKP, @Scroll_ES, @Scroll_PT, @Web3Clubs, etc.), and submit your link via the form. One track per person, but tackle both challenges for better odds. Judging emphasizes educational value (via points), engagement, creativity, authenticity, and production.
What makes the Scroll Content Hackathon exciting is its low-barrier and no-coding, offering exposure to Scroll’s 300k+ followers, portfolio boosts for future bounties, and invites to private creator Discords. Participants can bridge to Scroll Mainnet here to demo a dApp in 5 minutes, structure content with a hook, problem-solving demo, and CTA like “Built on @Scroll_ZKP—fast, cheap, Ethereum-secure.”
