PlotSenseAI, in partnership with Havilah Academy, is hosting the first-ever PlotSenseAI Hackathon 2025. Announcing the virtual competition, which will run from September 19 to October 21, 2025, the organisation invited developers, data scientists, and innovators to explore the power of transparent, explainable AI visualization.
The hackathon begins with three hands-on workshops from September 19 to 21, designed to sharpen participants’ skills. Immediately after, the hackathon phase opens, running until October 21, where teams and individuals will work intensively on building solutions powered by PlotSenseAI. A final showcase on October 22 will highlight standout projects and crown the winners.
At its core, PlotSenseAI is a tool that transforms complex datasets into intuitive, transparent visuals—perfect for exploratory data analysis without the “black box” mystery. The hackathon challenges participants to harness this technology in one of two paths:
- PlotSense ML (£200 Prize): applying PlotSenseAI to accelerate insights in machine learning projects.
- PlotSense Dev (£400 Prize): extending the platform with modules and new features that unlock deeper analytics.
Together, these tracks form a £600 prize pool. But beyond the financial benefits, the rewards extend further: global recognition, networking opportunities, increased visibility in open-source communities, and a chance to make meaningful contributions to the AI ecosystem.
Registration is free through Luma, and once confirmed, participants will be invited into the official Discord community, which also serves as an interactive hub for collaboration, updates, and support. Submissions will be made through GitHub, ensuring every project is open, accessible, and ready for peer review.
