Denver, the Rivers State Lead for Web3 Nigeria, is a passionate advocate for the integration of crypto and real-world assets. He is also a vibrant participant in the NFT and meme trading ecosystem. But beyond trading and technology, Denver is focused on one thing, which is real impact.
His journey into Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePINs) was born out of a desire to create solutions that directly improve people’s lives.
“I wanted to contribute to society in a meaningful way,” he shared. For him, DePINs are a revolutionary way to decentralize ownership and access to real-world assets like electricity, water, and internet infrastructure.
He gave a practical example: “Let’s say I live in an area with 24/7 electricity supply, and there are neighbouring communities with poor power supply. Through DePINs, instead of waiting on the government, we can share this resource directly with them.”
DePINs and tokenized real-world assets are fast emerging niches in the Web3 space, and Denver encourages newcomers to explore this in full. “This is where the future is heading. If you are just entering the Web3 world, this is a great place to plant your ideas,” he advised.
Advice for Web3 Newbies: Volunteer and Explore Underrated Niches
Denver’s rapid growth in the space serves as inspiration. Despite being in the Web3 ecosystem for just a year, his dedication and willingness to volunteer propelled him to a leadership role. “Volunteering changed everything for me,” he said. “It opened doors, expanded my network, and built my credibility.”
He emphasized that one of the smartest moves newcomers can make is to look into less saturated areas within Web3. “When you’re starting out, don’t chase the hype. Look for where there’s demand but few builders. That’s where you’ll stand out and grow fast. Within a year, you can land a solid, well-paying job if you stay consistent.”
