Across Africa, young innovators are pushing the boundaries of what is possible with technology but for these ideas to thrive, there must be intentional investment in infrastructure, inclusion, and innovation.
At the Let’s Build Meetup ConTour 2025, happening on 24th May in Port Harcourt and 31st May in Uyo, Dikachi Ibekwe will speak as one of the panelists on the topic “Building for Africa: Innovation, Infrastructure, and Inclusion.”
Dikachi is a blockchain consultant, digital innovator, and Web3 media strategist who has spent the last years helping people and communities across Africa understand and use blockchain technology to solve actual problems.
He is known for his work in crypto education, community building, and creating practical strategies that help developers and users unlock new economic opportunities.
Currently, he serves as the Lead Ambassador for TheGenesis, a blockchain powered platform focused on changing how people experience ownership, revenue sharing, and eSports entertainment in Africa.
Through TheGenesis, Dikachi Ibekwe is working to close the gap between Web3 tools and the people who need them most, from content creators to gamers and everyday users.
In the panel session, Dikachi will share honest insights about what it takes to build for Africa, using technology and human perspective. From challenges builders face when infrastructure is lacking to how inclusion must include access to knowledge, funding, and ownership as well as tools.
Dikachi brings a hands-on perspective to the discussion. He believes African builders do not need to wait for foreign solutions, that they can design their own, if given the right support. His approach combines storytelling and strategy to drive engagement in the Web3 Ecosystem.
This session is value packed for aspiring builders, developers and enthusiasts looking to learn what is possible using blockchain technology. Alongside other panelists, this session promises practical lessons and useful takeaways on how to build technology that works for Africa, not just in Africa.
