While some educators write textbooks, others stand at the front of classrooms, but Praise Ohwodiasa? He builds bridges, between complexity and clarity, ambition and access, technology and the everyday person.

An early start in traditional tutoring taught Praise the power of simplicity. That instinct followed him into the digital frontier, where he now stands as one of the most thoughtful voices onboarding young Africans into Web3. His mission: to teach in a way that sticks, and to build in a way that uplifts.

Proof of Impact/Work

  1. From breaking down complex subjects (e.g DePINs) in accessible threads, to teaching the nuances of technical writing in his Twitter Space series, he has become a reliable compass for Web3 newcomers. His “Technical Writing 101” session didn’t just inform but also it inspired mentorship.
  2. In Q4 2024, Praise went all in on Base, choosing to dedicate his entire content journey to the ecosystem. It was a bold decision that eventually paid off.
  3. He produced engaging tutorials, article breakdowns, and launched the Base University Onboarding Tour: a gamified, interactive learning experience that pulled students into Web3 in the most exciting way. That first episode alone raked in over 36,000 views. Praise, consistent in his efforts, did not stop at one.
  4. Praise went further, creating “Based Ones,” a growing community for education and retention, not just onboarding. Through that platform, he hosted Twitter Spaces, ran Zora minting tutorials, and personally guided users onto platforms like Warpcast.
  5. Praise was also a core part of the Borderless 3.0 movement leading the newsletter team that helped drive over 1,000 event signups. He played multiple roles: event planner, video creator, social media driver. His efforts earned him a spot as the second Graphics Designer of the Year and a contributor to one of the top-performing departments in 2024.

When he is not building, he is teaching. When he is not teaching, he is amplifying others. From free copywriting classes to student mentorship, his impact is both measurable and inspiring.

Where You Come In

Praise has entered the GG23 Community Round “Web3 for Universities”: an initiative designed to reward builders making Web3 accessible to their local communities. And few fit that mold more than him.

If you have ever learned from his threads, tuned into his Spaces, or admired the way he moves with intention, now’s the time to show it. Support praise by donating to his project on this round.

Web3 will thrive on the backs of educators like Praise—those who teach not for the spotlight, but for the students who show up in it. Let us make sure he has the resources to keep building and teaching.
